    Where do I start? With the welcoming atmosphere, the courteous service with a smile or the yummy country home cooking? All of it top notch! Food is plentiful, you won't leave hungry. Prices very affordable. This place in sweet downtown Pleasant Hill next to the train depot is so worth the visit!

    Great food. Lots to select from and breakfast available all day. Can accommodate groups of all sizes. Adjoining dining room for overflow and also can be reserved for a group luncheon or other function. Lots of pies to choose from.

    I stopped in here while cycling from Lexington Virginia to Kansas City at the end of the Katy Trail section. I had several slices of wonderful homemade berry pie and ice tea. I cannot speak for anything other than that but that in and of itself it's enough to bring me back!

    Total greasy spoon place in an old, historic building in a small town. Everything that goes along with that. You don't go here for the aesthetics. You go here for the fried chicken and the pie, and you will NOT be disappointed.
